Jason Isaacs, iconic as one of the most evil men in film, made his feelings about Sean Spicer very clear at the Emmys.
Attending the Netflix, post awards party, the actor, well known for playing Lucious Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, took a selfie and managed to get Spicer in the background of the photo.
If his face did not say it all, Isaacs made his feelings clear in the caption he wrote for Instagram:
Hoping to forget politics for one night and bask in other people's glory at the Netflix Emmys party and who do I spot at the bar late at night but the poisonous purveyor of lies Sean Spicer.
What were the Emmys thinking celebrating this modern day Goebbels, who was the thuggish face of Orwellian doublespeak just moments ago?
Isaacs was not alone in criticising the decision to involve the former White House Press Secretary in the Emmys ceremony.
Isaacs later tweeted about his post, making reference to the old 'just following orders' defence.
