Oscars 2021: Daniel Kaluuya thanked his parents for having sex during jaw-dropping acceptance speech

Daniel Kaluuya might have won “Best Supporting Actor” for his role in “Judas and the Black Messiah” Sunday, but it’s the actor’s acceptance speech which we can’t stop talking about.

When the “Get Out,” actor took the stage to accept his Academy Award, he ended up commenting on his parents’ sex life.

“We’ll celebrate life man; we’re breathing, we’re walking, it’s incredible. My mum and my dad… they had sex. It’s amazing! I’m so happy to be alive,” Kaluuya said.

Ok, that’s one way to deliver an acceptance speech.

However, it’s the expression from Kaluuya’s mom that has us cracking up. When the camera cut to Kaluuya’s mum, not only was she confused as to what her son just said, but she can be seen mouthing: ‘What’s he talking about?’

After Kaluuya finished his speech, the reactions immediately began rolling in,

‘Daniel Kaluuya just inspired the hell out of me. What an actor. What a man. And yes, his parents had sex,” wrote “Full House” comedian Bob Sagat.

“When Daniel Kaluuya wins we all win because he gives the best acceptance speeches I meannn wow,” wrote NYT Magazine writer Jenna Wortham.
