The baby’s name nor birth date were disclosed.
In a 2017 interview with ES Magazine, Campbell noted that she constantly thought about having kids. She also mentioned that scientific advancements could help her achieve that goal on her time.
Campbell’s mom, Valerie Morris Campbell, shared the same post to her Instagram along with this touching caption: “Congratulations to my daughter Naomi on the birth of her daughter, I’m beyond thrilled as I’ve waited a longtime to be grandmother. ❤️😍 @naomi.”
Twitter also showed their support of the supermodel having her first child. Check out those responses below.
On the other hand, some people believe that her age could be a problem, piling in to say it was too late in life to start a family.
Other readers defended her, saying getting pregnant is not the only way to become a mother.
Campbell will celebrate her 51st birthday on May 22. What a wonderful gift of motherhood!
Campbell also launched her weekly inspiring YouTube series No Filter with Naomi in which she interviews people in politics such as Stacey Abrams and entertainers such as Dave Chapelle.
