MPs are currently roughly halfway through a debate on whether or not to engage in RAF air strikes against Isis in Syria, after which they will vote on the matter.
The debate will be have been raging for ten and a half hours by the time it concludes, which is a long amount of time by anyone's standards.
During Dame Margaret Beckett's speech, Steve McCabe, Labour MP for Birmingham Selly Oak, appeared to have been caught making some obscene gestures.
However, as Mr McCabe was happy to clarify to i100.co.uk via Twitter, he had simply forgotten that he would be in shot on BBC Parliament.
A vote is expected around 10pm tonight, following the debate in which speaker John Bercow reported 157 MPs had applied to speak.
