People love this guy's 'booty shorts' sacrifice for his friend

You know your pal is a good friend when he lends you his trousers so you can take an exam.

Andrew Nguyen, an 18 year-old student at the University of Texas, was in the library with his friend Diana Le when Le realised she hadn't brought any trousers with her to change into for her test.

She was wearing shorts to study in and the exam was taking place in a lab, where everyone must wear trousers. She asked around to see if anyone had any spare trousers, but no one did.

So Nguyen stepped in and swapped trousers with her. He later tweeted a picture of himself waiting or "chilling" in the bathroom in Le's "booty shorts".

Nguyen's tweet has been retweeted more than 135,000 times, liked by 340,000 and many are tweeting about what a good pal he is.

Nguyen told indy100: "This thing is honestly going crazy. I didn't think this would get this much attention especially since it was literally just me doing a favor for a friend."

I would do it again even if It didn't blow up on social media because that's just what friends do for each other.

But honestly I don't think she'll ever forget to bring pants on the day of her lab again.
