Fans are convinced Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are engaged — here’s why

Fans are convinced that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker — nicknamed “Kravis”by devotees — got engaged in Las Vegas last weekend.

Kardashian and Barker have been dating for just seven months, though they’ve been close friends for decades. They also seem pretty serious, all things considered: they don’t hold back with showing their love, proudly displaying their affection towards one another both in public and online. What’s more, Kardashian is seemingly quite close with Barker’s daughter, Alabama, based off their interactions on Instagram.  Thus, for fans who have closely followed the Kravis saga, it surely wouldn’t be completely off the mark to think an engagement could be on the horizon.

So when Kardashian’s hairstylist, Glen Oropeza, shared a photo of the couple with a caption that some saw as a hint at marriage, fans went wild. “NOWWW I understand why ppl tie the knot in Vegas,” Oropeza wrote, followed by three emojis: A chapel, a face crying of happiness, and a diamond ring — customarily utilised to signify engagement or marriage. “There’s nothing like love AND a good time.”

Oropeza quickly edited the caption, however, switching out the diamond ring for a black heart instead.  Still, it was enough to spark speculation, which was further fuelled by Alabama’s Instagram story seemingly congratulating the couple on something big.

“So happy for you guys,” she wrote, sharing a photo of her father and his maybe-fiance. Kardashian re-posted Alabama’s wishes to her own Instagram Stories with a heart emoji, acknowledging there was indeed something about which to be pleased. Kardashian’s younger sister Khloe then sent a massive bouquet of white roses — an interesting choice of flowers if not to celebrate upcoming nuptials.

Whatever the case, Kardashian is certainly ecstatic — perhaps just to spend time with the man she loves. The reality star shared series of photos of her and Barker to her own Instagram, alongside quite cryptic captions.

“What happens in Vegas,” she wrote on one series. “A very happy girl,” she said alongside another.

A source reportedly confirmed the engagement to The Sun, telling the publication: “I think Travis has been planning the proposal for ages.”

“They want to start their own family together - that is the bigger thing for them because they both have kids, but they want to bring the two families together,” they continued.

It remains to be seen whether Kravis is truly engaged — though we’re thrilled for them either way.
