Keeping up with the Kardashian…exes? Apparently, yes. The A-list family’s series may have ended last month, but Khloe Kardashian’s exes are seemingly dedicated to keeping up with their own Kardashian-adjacent shenanigans — in the very public, and questionable, place that is Khloe Kardashian’s Instagram comment section. Indeed, Lamar Odom, Khloe’s ex-husband, and Tristan Thompson, Khloe’s alleged ex-boyfriend are beefing via comments on Khloe’s latest bikini picture — because that’s what grown men do, apparently.

For some brief context: Khloe met and married Lamar, former Lakers star, in 2009, but filed for divorce in 2013 due to his alleged cheating and drug-use. The divorce was finalised in 2016, and Khloe met Tristan Thompson in September of that year. Tristan and Khloe have been on and off since, and even had a daughter together, though Tristan has notoriously cheated on Khloe multiple times. The first (known) incident occurred when Khloe was pregnant with their daughter, and the second with Khloe’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner’s, former best friend.
More recently, it was revealed that Tristan was also unfaithful in 2020, though both Khloe and Tristan have threatened the alleged other woman with legal action for speaking out. After that, Tristan was seen entering a bedroom with three mystery women at a party, and sources overheard him saying he was single.
Following the most recent incident, E! News reported that Khloe had ended things with Tristan for good — though Tristan’s birthday tribute to Khloe, which was posted after the alleged break-up, explicitly referred to Khloe as his “partner.”
It’s a lot. And now, we have an Instagram feud.
This weekend, Khloe posted a photo in a bikini, to which Lamar Odom for whatever reason responded, “Hottie,” followed by a flurry of flirtatious emojis.

Tristan then shared his own thoughts, and was seemingly “drooling” over the photo.

But then, Tristan opted to posted another, separate, comment, tagging Lamar: “@lamarodom God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results.”

At first read, it sounds like he’s speaking nonsense — but upon the fourth or fifth, you realise: Oh my God, is this a reference to Lamar’s near-death experience?! In 2015, Lamar nearly died of a cocaine overdose — from which one could argue “God brought him back.”
…What exactly is Tristan insinuating here? Ishe even back with Khloe? What is going on?!
Whatever the case, Instagram is loving it.
