Khloe Kardashian’s response to photo controversy sparks fresh debate about body standards

Khloe Kardashian has moved to defend herself after an unwanted and unedited picture of her leaked on social media, which her team have attempted to have taken down from the internet.

The reality television star was embroiled in a minor controversy after an unfiltered image of her in a bikini went viral.

However, the image of her was not approved by the Kardashian and accounts that have posted the picture have apparently been contacted about potential legal action.

Khloe Kardashian, in a frank and honest statement, has since responded to the scandal.

In a statement shared on both Twitter and Instagram, she spoke out against the “impossible standards” that the public has set for her and the constant cruel and negative comments that have been aimed at her.

Kardashian also shared several selfie videos on Instagram, adding that “I did a live to show you that this isn’t Photoshopped.”

Kardashian concluded her statement by saying “We are all unique in our own way. I have realized that we cannot continue to live life trying to fit into the perfect mold of what others have set for us. Just do you and make sure your heart is happy.”

Her response to the controversy, which has drawn criticism from the likes of Piers Morgan, saw many praise her for speaking out including her sister Kendall Jenner, who commented on Instagram: “yes! you beautiful, strong, HEALTHY queen.” Kim Kardashian simply wrote: “I love you Khloe.”

Elsewhere, many others praised what the mother of one had to say and although many saw nothing wrong with the photo in question they still supported her.

Others felt that the star should have just owned it and shared the photo herself and that the entire family should be more open to sharing real images of themselves.

The aforementioned image that caused this entire controversy still appears to be floating around many corners of the internet so it might be sometime before it is completely eradicated but hopefully with Khloe finally addressing the situation will put an end to any further discussions about it.
