Kendall Jenner’s revealing dress for friend’s wedding sparks debate on whether it was appropriate

Kendall Jenner’s dress choice for a close friend’s wedding has sparked debate online, with some saying that it was too revealing for the occasion.

Jenner shared a photo of her at close friend Lauren Perez’s wedding on Instagram Stories, alongside friends Hailey Bieber, Jesse Jo Stark, and Bella Hadid.

The black Mônot RTW Spring 2022 dress featured triangular openings of fabric that hid sections of her upper torso. The cloth slits formed a geometric pattern when they come together in the centre.

Some women online wondered why Jenner would wear this type of dress to a wedding, with some suggesting it looked like something to wear at the “strip club.”

However others pointed out that it was fine and she should not be judged for her clothing choices - and we agree!

“Sorry, but that is NOT a dress you wear to a wedding,” someone wrote.

“Apparently, Kendall Jenner thought this was an appropriate outfit to wear as a guest to a wedding, I would kick a b**** out if she showed up wearing that,” another added.

A third, who thought the dress looked good, still said that the dress wasn’t “appropriate.”

“I can’t imagine what bride could wear that this wouldn’t upstage. It’s amazing but maybe least appropriate for wedding guest[s] ever? In vacuum suggests more narcissist than [a] strong flaunting woman? But if [the] bride is cool & she knew she’d be, more power to ‘em,” they wrote.

However, some seemed to be in support of Jenner’s choice of dress, saying how “iconic” it is.

“Kendall Jenner wearing this monot ss dress to her friend’s wedding reception is iconic,” a fourth wrote.

Another added: “That black dress Kendall Jenner was wearing was real fire, and I’m determined to get that made.”

Someone else wrote, “Looking the part, U good looking intelligent new aged women. Always looking on point Kendall.”

All in all, as long as the bride was comfortable with the decision, then that’s all that matters!
