White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has become a celebrity in her own right, largely thanks to outlandish claims about entirely fake massacres, the coining of the phrase “alternative facts” and some questionable fashion choices to boot.
And when questioned about her loose relationship with the truth, Ms Conway responded in the worst possible way.
In a recent interview with New York Magazine, she said that anyone who claims she lacks credibility must be “a fucking miserable person”.
Conway told journalist Olivia Nuzzi:
Anybody who pretends I’m not smart or not credible, it’s like, ‘Excuse me, I’ve spoken 1.2 million words on TV, okay?’
You wanna focus on two here and two there, it’s on you, you’re a fucking miserable person, P.S., just whoever you are.
In other words, expecting a White House representative to be factual and accurate is just sad and boring.
Whether it's massacre or mastermind, just lighten up, okay?
