There are few things more soul-destroying than dragging yourself to work following a weekend of boozing.

Which is why landscape gardener and Glaswegian Mark McLelland, tried to sneak a day off work to recuperate.

McLelland thought it was a Monday.

**It wasn’t.**

He attempts to pass off his alcohol-induced sickness by saying he had “the runs”.

Not only did his boss see right through his excuse, he went on to call him a “f—king weapon”.
