Here's what happened to the female journalist who exposed 'sexist' scientist Tim Hunt

The journalist who accused Nobel Prize-winning scientist Sir Tim Hunt of sexism said she has been the victim of Twitter trolls and accused the “establishment” of “bullying” and “protecting their own”.

Connie St Louis, who wrote the original account of Sir Tim’s speech which prompted the row that led him to resign from his posts at University College London and the Royal Society, told The London Evening Standard she has received “unpleasant” emails and tweets from his supporters.

Ms St Louis, a lecturer in science journalism at City University, added: “It doesn’t make me change my mind. I am standing by my story.”
