Being a former public schoolboy, Oxford graduate and a member of the so-called metropolitan elite, you may think George Osborne is a bit of a stiff-upper-lip, boring sort of chap.
But no, no, no, you've got it all wrong. According to a revealing interview in the Mail on Sunday, the man most likely to be Britain's next prime minister likes gangsta rap.
As well as giving all his trousers away to charity shops after losing weight and sending fellow Cabinet ministers "emoticons" when, to use Mail on Sunday editor Geordie Greig's words, they have "done well", Gideon Oliver Osborne has proven his "normal" credentials by explaining that not only did he once attend an NWA concert at Brixton Academy when he was a student but he listed it as his favourite concert of all time.
Recently portrayed in the film Straight Outta Compton, and featuring famous members Ice Cube and Dr Dre, the group rose to prominence in the late 80s and early 90s thanks to hit songs like "Fuck Tha Police", "Gangsta Gangsta" and "Findum, Fuckem and Flee"...
