A Canadian family-of-four had quite the surprise during a hike in Canada's Gatineau Park when they bumped into their prime minister emerging from a cave.
Father Jim Godby, who was at the park on a five-day camping trip alongside his wife Arlene and children, told The Star that his family hadn't even been expecting to see a cave nevermind bump into a topless Justin Trudeau.
It was like a 20-foot-wide round hole and Justin [Trudeau] emerged with his family in tow and said, ‘This is the moment of truth; do we stop here or do we carry on?
Trudeau and his family then stopped to chat, and Godby's son Alexander even got a selfie with the prime minister.
The internet, of course, reacted exactly as you'd expect.
First, there was anger...
Disbelief...
Bargaining...
Depression...
... And acceptance
Truly: what a time to be alive.
