Ewan Mcgregor's ex-wife responds to savage comment on Instagram

Eve Mavrakis has broken her silence for the first time since her split from husband Ewan McGregor.

She publicly opened up about the break-up after an Instagram follower harshly slatedMcGregor's new girlfriend, Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Under the post, which celebrated Mavrakis' screenwriting friend's birthday, one user commented:

I can't believe Ewan would end things with u for that cheap wh*re! U are so much better than him!!!!

Take him for every penny u can!!!!

Mavraskis philosophically replied:
