Ed Miliband had lunch with the leader of his fandom

Abby Tomlinson, the leader of the Milifandom, has finished her AS levels - and to celebrate she had a rather special lunch date.

The 17-year-old tweeted these pictures of her at the House of Commons on Thursday with Ed Miliband himself.

Miliband, who gave special thanks to the "Milifandom" (or as he dubbed it "the most unlikely cult of the 21st century") when he resigned as Labour leader after the general election, also tweeted about the encounter, writing:

Let's hope his table manners have improved...
