For clarity, people often put (1/2) at the end of a tweet if they have two tweet’s worth of words to say. (Or (1/3) upwards in extreme circumstances.)
But Trump doesn’t play by the rules.
So when he tweeted half a sentence and ended it with an elusive '...', it was no surprise that the kind people of Twitter decided to finish Trump's sentence for him.
He tweeted:
I will be holding a major news conference in New York City with my children on December 15 to discuss the fact that I will be leaving my ...
And the responses were great.
Some were probably very accurate:

What he actually meant to say was...
But that's not as much fun.
