David Hasselhoff claims he's changed his name to 'David Hoff'

“I’ve been wanting to drop the hassle from my life for years. Now, it's official."

So says David Hasselhoff in an eight-second long clip uploaded to YouTube yesterday, holding up what appears to be a certificate showing he's officially changed his name.

The Hoff really is just Hoff now, it appears.

In case you don't follow him on YouTube the actor formerly-known-as-Hasselhoff took to Twitter to share the good news too.

David Hoff, ladies and gentlemen. No longer living a lie. Unless the name change is a lie. In which case we're not sure what is going on.
