We all know method acting can be the key to an excellent performance.
Well, Courteney Cox seems to have remained in her most famous role – Monica Geller – almost 17 years since Friends aired its final episode.
On Thursday, the 56-year-old posted a video to Instagram challenging fans to “tell me you’re a Monica without telling me you’re a Monica.”
She then proved that she and her iconic character are very much two peas in a pod.
“I’ll go first,” the actor said, before unveiling her pristinely ordered kitchen utensils draw, coupled with her faultlessly organised spices and perfectly arranged pantry.

“I know,” she admitted sheepishly.
Friends of the star were quick to comment on the clip, as she asked: “Am I the only one?”
Musician Joe Sumner wrote: “Monica is such a Courteney.”
While fellow actress Kathy Najimy admitted: “I’m the opposite of a Monica... I’m the lady who owns the thrift store in ‘The One with the Vintage Stuff’.”
And comedian Whitney Cummings responded simply: “Hahahahhaha.”
Friends aired for 10 years from 1994, scooping a total of six Emmys.
Till this day, it remains one of the most popular TV series ever.
Cox will reunite with her former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer for the Friends reunion, which just wrapped up filming.
The the one-off special was delayed after multiple pandemic-enforced restrictions.
It will air on the HBO Max streaming service in the US, but no release date has been announced.
