The Emmy's on Sunday night marked actor Anna Faris' first public appearance since announcing her separation from actor Chris Pratt.
In a joint statement in August the couple wrote:
We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.
Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.
We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.
Faris, a star on CBS show Mom, appeared onstage with her co-star Allison Janney to present the award for Outstanding Variety Special.
Although Pratt wasn't attending the Emmy's, he was asked by TMZ reporter on the street what he thought about Anna's appearance and her presenting.
He replied to the reporter:
I know she did great.
Anna did an amazing job, man. She rules.
Her and Allison [Janney] they both looked great.
Go watch Mom on CBS.
Allison Janney told Usmagazine at the Television Academy's Performers Peer Group Celebration in Beverly Hills:
She's [Faris] fantastic. She's a professional.
It's hard to do but she's coming to work with a smile on her face and knows her lines and is as professional as ever.
Everyone there loves and supports her, and we're just surrounding her with love.
She's getting her work done. She's great.
