A viral TikTok of a woman supposedly finding a frog in her mashed potatoes is doing the rounds on the internet, nearly three weeks after the cereal scandal where a man thought he had found a shrimp tail in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Posted on Tuesday, the video has racked up 3.5 million views which shows user @bethanybutwith2arms using her fork to poke the lump, asking, “What the f***? What is this?... It’s like indestructible.”

The lump, which is coated in mashed potatoes, is then rinsed, with text saying, “I deadass think this is a baby frog.

At the end of the video, she appears on to be on the verge of tears and visibly gagging. “There was a FROG in my cheesecake factory order should I sue?”, the video’s caption reads.

Speaking to tiktok/">The Daily Dot, The Cheesecake Factory said it is “very concerned to hear of this incident” and has “been in touch with” @bethanybut2arms.

“We take food safety and sanitation very seriously and are committed to providing a safe dining experience to all our guests whether they dine-in or order take-out and delivery.”

Viewers of the video were absolutely disgusted, with one saying they would “simply die” and other chiming in saying they would “simply drink acid”

A third piped up, “I would simply never consume food again,”

“I don’t think I’d stop crying.” another one said.

However, in a follow-up video where Bethany took the sample to get analysed by a scientist, she was told that whatever she found in her mashed potato wasn’t a baby frog but was actually mould.

The internet is still dealing with the Cinnamon Toast Shrimp tail saga, in which Jensen Karp accused the cereal company of leaving shrimp tails in his box.

After having his allegations denied, he said he is intending to undergo DNA testing and also has faced allegations of his own - abuse allegations from several women.

“First shrimp in cereal now this.. bout to make me never eat again.” One said, marrying the two scandals together.
