Charli XCX has shared a hilarious outtake from an award presenting gig where she had an unfortunate slip-up (quite literally) in the form of a wardrobe malfunction.
The Good Ones singer - whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison - was recording a virtual clip to present the award for Best Pop Release to Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROI at the Aria (Australian Recording Industry Association) Music Awards that took place lask week.
In the clip, Charli is dressed up in a black mini dress and says: “And the ARIA goes to The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber for ‘Stay’. Well done, congratulations.”
She then waved at the camera, which is when the wardrobe malfunction occurred as this caused one of her straps to fall down and the dress to slip from her left shoulder, showing her entire breast (which was pixellated in the clip to protect her modesty).
@charlixcx congrats guys !
Reacting quickly, the singer covers herself up and is doubled over in laughter at what had just happened before lifting the strap back up onto her shoulder while someone else off camera also joins in giggling at the unexpected exposure.

While this particular edit didn’t make the final cut (for obvious reasons) the pop star shared the hilarious blooper on her social media platforms, with the caption: “congrats guys !”
Since posting to her social media pages, Charli’s video has been viewed over 1m times, with people similarly finding the clip as hilarious as the Boys singer did.
One person wrote: “Imagine if it was live though,” with a skull emoji.
“The girlies wanted to congratulate them as well,” another person joked.
Someone else replied: “This is truly your Janet era,” referencing Janet Jackson’s infamous wardrobe malfunction back at the 2004 Superbowl halftime show where Justin Timberlake ripped off part of Jackson’s outfit, causing her breast to be temporarily exposed.
“I’m sorry this is gonna be iconic,” a fourth person replied.
Charli XCX recently announced her fifth studio album CRASH will be released on 18 March next year.
