Bill Gates and his wife Melinda have announced that they are divorcing after 27 years of marriage and people have already started to have fun with the situation.

Parody accounts on Tinder have reportedly started to pop up with people pretending to be the billionaire creator of Microsoft.

A screenshot of an account pretending to be Gates was shared by Twitter user @jasminericegirl.

In the image, we see a fairly generic headshot of Gates who apparently works at ‘multi-billionaire.’

The only line of the bio is “I can give you an exclusive third dose” – a nod to conspiracy theorists who believe that Gates had something to do with the Covid-19 pandemic and the distribution of the vaccine. He has recently been criticised for after stating vaccines shouldn’t be shared with poorer countries.

Another Gates parody account states ‘I can be your sugar daddy. Just looking for a young healthy woman with lots of blood.”

This account appears to be in particular bad taste as, along with the rather sinister sounding bio, a picture of Gates appears alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A third bio is thankfully much more light-hearted. Amongst his interests are Office365, vaccines and ‘boring girls without personalities (I hear they live here)’. Hmm...that last one sounds a bit mean. His dislikes are: iMacs, anti-vaxxers and Google Docs.

Someone has even imagined what would happen if Gates was actually on Tinder and would up concluding that he would end up with Dr Anthony Fauci. These people seem really fixated on Gates and Covid, don’t they?

Anyway, if Gates does try out dating apps he wouldn't be the first major celebrity to do so.

Ben Affleck recently made headlines after he contacted a woman who had matched then unmatched with him on Raya after believing that his profile was a fake.

We think we can safely assume that all of these Gates profiles are 100 per cent fakes as he would definitely have better chat up lines than what is on offer here.
