Bieber completes the ice bucket challenge... without ice, without bucket

Justin Bieber - singer, popstar, person on social media - has completed the ice bucket challenge but seemingly didn't have any ice or buckets to hand.

After accepting the challenge from his manager, Scooter Braun, Bieber posted his effort on his Instagram page while using a saucepan and water that certainly looks to be above 0°C.

The Bieb then challenged president Barack Obama, chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and comedian Chris D'Elia to reciprocate.

The ice bucket challenge has grown in popularity this week - with celebrities such as Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates all taking part in a bid to raise awareness and funds to tackle Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
