During a campaign rally, president Trump mocked Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s qualifications – but she had the perfect response.

On Monday, when talking about AOC’S Green New Deal, Trump said: “A great student of the environment. I don't think she ever took an environmental course in college.”

He then asked: “She did go to college, right?”

AOC attended Boston University, where she graduated with a BA in international relations and economics.

But she didn’t think pointing out this fact was important.

In a tweet, she wrote: “I could say yes, but who cares?”

AOC then continued: “Plenty of people without college degrees could run this country better than Trump ever has."

As much as GOP cry about ‘elites,’ they’re the ones who constantly mock food service workers, people without degrees etc. as dumb. It’s classist & disgusting.”

In a later tweet, she wrote: “I’ve hired people without degrees who have done incredible, effective and strategic work.

The more college costs soar, the more degrees become a measure [of] privilege than competence.”

Her response was celebrated by her fans.

AOC does it again.
