Comedian Adam Sandler returned to the infamous Long Island, New York IHOP for Monday’s “Milkshake Monday” - days after a waitress turning him away during a busy period went viral.
Sandler popped up to IHOP, meeting up with hostess Dayanna Rodas who previously told him there would be a 30-minute wait to be seated at the restaurant.
She hadn’t recognized him, and she ended up posting the footage in a viral TikTok video at the end of April. The video received 11.5 million views.
Rodas took to her TikTok again to post a video montage from the sweet follow-up.
Within the montage, captioned, “Couldn’t have been more excited!! Thank you Adam Sandler! #fyp #ihop #milkshakemonday #adamsandler #awesome #viral,” you’ll see photos showing her and Sandler donning IHOP face masks, drinking milkshakes, and posing with staff.

Sandler blended right in with everyone else as he sported a salmon-colored sweatshirt, mustard-colored shorts with yellow lines on the sides, and Ugg boots.
He also took his pup to the event, sharing an adorable photo on Twitter.
“Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday,” Sandler’s caption read.
Milkshake Monday is a charity event that was inspired by Sandler’s May 3 tweet that said: “For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes.”
As a result, IHOP offered the All-You-Can-Drink milkshakes to 19 Long Island stores.
Milkshake Monday was also a way to raise funds for Comedy Gives Back, a nonprofit that helps comedians get the help and resources they need amid the pandemic.
Every milkshake that sold would automatically donate US$1 (up to $50,000) to the comedy nonprofit.
