Donald Trump Jr has called reports that his father’s appearance at an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event was booed, “bulls**t.”
This comes less than a week after being greeted with boos and chants of 'lock him up' at a World Series baseball game in Washington, Trump showed up at UFC 244 in Madison Square Garden, New York.
Trump Jr tweeted the following about the rally, which had anti-Trump banners and boos.
Despite the bulls**t from blue checkmark Twitter, when we walked into the area it was overwhelmingly positive. @danawhite said it was the most electrifying entrance he seen in 25 years of doing this.
Except people are pointing out online, his dad was the recipient of boos. Loud ones.
In fact, the boos were "deafening"
Others pointed out that there were even chants of "lock him up!"
And the attacks on verified accounts is...a bit much, coming from a verified account
Trump was reportedly in attendance with his eldest sons, Eric and Donald Jr, and though he did receive some applause from the fans and was seen fist-pumping before the fight began.
