There’s a rather odd new trend you should look out for online, but it’s probably not one you’ll want to get involved in.
It’s called Tindstagramming, and it’s apparently a method that allows people to stalk their crushes from Tinder even after they fail to match.
You see, if you have Instagram connected, all it takes is a quick click through to the photosharing site before you swipe on Tinder.
Since 2015, Tinder has allowed users to link their Instagram accounts to their profile, so potential dates can see their photos - a great addition, especially if you want to show off a little more than usual.
While over on Instagram, with the introduction of direct messaging, you no longer need to be followed by someone in order to slide into their DMs.
So that's what people are doing - sending creepy messages to people who've swiped 'Nope' to them on Tinder.
