This optical illusion with Donald Trump's running mate is really freaking people out

Donald Trump has announced that Indiana governor Mike Pence will be his running mate for the US presidential election.

While political hacks have been busy poring over Pence's political history, voting record and speeches most regular folk have have been transfixed by this image:

Tweeted out by Pence from a restaurant in New York, the photo first gained attention for the fact that he chose a run-of-the-mill fast food joint and secondly because they'd barely touched their food.

But the thing that really freaked people out is the fact that you can't see the reflection of Pence's daughter (sitting to his left) in the mirror:
