Nigel Farage returned to the European Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday, his first appearance as an MEP since the UK's historic vote on leaving the EU last week.
The special session was called to discuss the ongoing Brexit fallout and it's safe to say Farage's welcome wasn't the warmest.
The Vote Leave campaigner made a divisive speech to his fellow MEPs, telling them:
- 'You're in denial'
- 'Most of you have never done a proper day's work in your life'
- 'You laughed at me. You're not laughing now'
Diplomacy 101 from Nige, there. The parliament didn't look best pleased, as we're sure you can imagine.
People watching the proceedings noticed this guy, looking like he's planning an assassination attempt:
As well as this woman with a righteous expression of bemusement.
But it's pretty clear that the way the country really feels is summed up devastatingly well by the body language of this bureaucrat:
