Wedgewood Church in North Carolina welcomes anyone who wants to worship, gay or straight, and the congregants are proud of their friendly community.
Recently the church's sign read 'LGBT Equality', which someone tried to cross out with black spray paint.
When the church removed the graffiti obscuring the message, the slur "Fags Are Pedos" appeared on the main doors.
The congregation's response? They painted over it with rainbows.

One member of Wedgewood, which has long been a supporter of the gay community, told WCNC: “No amount of spray-paint will stop us.”
The church is also discussing changing the sign that says 'LGBT Equality' to read 'we forgive you'.
As usual, love wins.
