New research has uncovered the UK constituencies with the highest resident casualty rates above the national average. The figures, for 2013, show where some of the most dangerous roads in the UK are situated.

Constituency (Percentage of resident casualty rates above national average):

1. Great Grimsby (52%)

2. Preston (50%)

3. Peterborough (45%)

4. Boston and Skegness (42%)

5. Bradford East (41%)

6. = Bradford West (40%)

6. = Derby South (40%)

8. Blackburn (39%)

9. = Blackpool South (38%)

9. = Cleethorpes (38%)
