Just hours before a gunman entered a cinema in Louisiana killing two people and injuring nine others, Barack Obama spoke out yet again about the US's gun laws.

Speaking to the BBC, the president said: "The United States of America is the one advanced nation on Earth in which we do not have sufficient common sense gun safety laws, even in the face of repeated mass killings."
