And there we were thinking we'd long ago reached peak Daily Mail.
We hadn't because in the early hours of a crisp January morning the following tweet, suggesting that it doesn't matter what a woman (in this case actor Jennifer Lawrence) has to say as long as she looks good appeared.
It didn't take long for the tweet to be picked up by campaign group Everyday Sexism, after a grab was shared by Exeter University professor Lauren Kay-Lambert.
The DM tweet has since been deleted. Probably for the best, eh? But what does it matter what I have to say? I'm just a woman who brushed her hair this morning.
