The 10 most ridiculous plastic surgery requests

People can’t help but want to change the way they look, and there has been a surge in both surgical and non-surgical enhancements in recent decades.

Last year over 20 million plastic surgery procedures were undertaken worldwide.

And while breast augmentation and face-lifts appear to be regular, and increasingly streamlined procedures, but what are some of the more unusual requests?

In a recent AMA on Reddit, one plastic surgeon ran through some of the strangest surgeries he's ever been asked to perform.

As well as detailing those, we've added a few more of the strangest ones available on the market, below:

1. Can you plastic surgery my seven-year-old son?

I once had a parent call to make an appointment for her son. She was Korean and claimed her son wanted Asian eyelid surgery (to make an extra fold to look more Caucasian). He was only seven!

2. Bokerface

Apparently a poker player favorite, you can pay upwards £400 to make your face completely absent of expression. Like a doll... Or a serial killer.

3. Anal bleaching

An acid is applied to your freshly waxed anus and rubbed in.

Ouch.

4. Ball ironing

To, um, make your testicles look more youthful.

5. Wings

I've had a lot of people ask me for wings. Like, turn them into the X-Men character The Angel. And they believe it's possible.

6. Cinderella surgery

Shaving off, or in extreme circumstances, breaking bones in your feet so you can then suffer in high heels? Sounds good.

7. Bigger penis

There are actually real treatments where a weight is attached to the penis for many hours a day after a penile ligament is cut, in order to lengthen the johnson.

8. The 'Kim Kardashian'

There's nothing like swapping your own face for that of a celebrity.

9. Scrotum lift

…these are starting to get popular. Never have done one. I have no desire to look and cut on dudes' ballsacks.

10. Voice lifts

Great, after you’ve had injections and other surgical procedures on your throat you can once again sound like a fifteen-year-old boy. At the age of 45.
