Steve Jobs was easily one of the most influential minds of the last 40 years.
His knowledge of technology and how to utilise it has practically infiltrated every moment of our waking lives.
Everything from the iPhone, the iPad, savvy operating systems and even unique marketing campaigns can be traced back to Jobs.
Although his ideas have often been imitated they are rarely mastered.
It wasn't just in the field of technology where Jobs knew a thing or two.
As a manager of a major company he also knew how to get the best out an employee and expand a business during a competitive era.
One of his most famous quotes perfectly sums up his attitude towards management and the importance of accepting new ideas.
It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.
With over 350 Apple stores worldwide and over 1 billion iPhones sold (as per The Verge) its hard to disagree that this line of thinking didn't bring Jobs any success.
They even made a movie about Jobs but it didn't portray the kind of man that is represented by that quote.
The aptly titled Steve Jobs, was released in 2015 and starred Michael Fassbender as the entrepreneur.
Using his artistic licence director Danny Boyle chose to focus on the more personal and difficult aspects of Jobs' life, rather than intensely exploring his passion for business and technology.
This is all well and good but his business partner, Steve Wozniak (Seth Rogen) often came off as the true genius behind the operation.
Regardless of that, Steve Jobs clearly knew how to produce a good quote.
