Someone hacked the Kiev metro and put Sherlock's Moriarty on all the screens

Someone appears to be playing around with the Kiev underground, and all clues point to Moriarty.

The arch-villain played by Andrew Scott in the BBC's Sherlock series, adapted from the novels of Arthur Conan-Doyle, appeared all over screens around the world as part of the ending to the series three finale.

It now appears that some hackers had some fun with the advertising screens on the Ukrainian capital's metro network, deciding to insert the fan-favourite "miss me" image from the third series, pointing to Moriarty's return.

The press service of the Kiev underground system told Ukrainian media that they had not sanctioned the images and were investigating the matter.

The incident, although not sanctioned, appears to have been in good spirits and merely celebrating the forthcoming fourth series, although Kiev underground did express concern that the security system appeared compromised.

What a time to be (possibly) alive.
