This anonymous man who claims he travelled to the year 6,000 (yes, really) has revealed what he thinks the future holds. And it's not good news.

A blurred YouTube video is probably not how most of us would reveal any time-travelling adventures, but this man thought it best to take his thrilling tale to ApexTV.

This is what the 'time traveller' had to say.

First off, if he's telling the truth, it's time to get out the party hats and streamers: it seems the world doesn't get destroyed in a nuclear war this year.

On the flip side, the human race will allegedly be led by a menacing artificially intelligent force the man refers to as 'they'.

And 'they' don't want the 'time traveller' to reveal the Earth's future, which is why he had his face blurred and voice distorted in the video... Obviously.

He says:

They don’t want me telling you this. They’re especially not going to like what I’m about to show you.

When I was in the year 6,000, I managed to take a photograph of a major city.

Now I cannot say which city, because it would lead to too much influential change on the future, but I can show you the photograph.

Reaching into his pocket to pull out what looks like a blurred photo of your average 21st century city, the 'time traveller' added:

This is a photograph from the year 6,000.

You may notice that the picture is distorted, that’s due to the time-travel process.

Some people actually have parts of their bodies distorted because of the process.

Convenient eh?

He also claims that time travel becomes possible after experiments on cats on dogs, which soon progresses to humans.

The man then gets emotional about someone he says he left in the future who he was sent there with.

And you thought 2017 was weird...

More: Time travel is technically possible. This is how
