Former Pentagon official says 'vehicles not from this Earth’ have been found

2020 has been a fairly strange year so far, hasn’t it?

First there was wildfires, then a pandemic and an anti-racist uprising. Oh, and there were some “murder hornets” thrown in for good measure.

Well if things on Earth weren’t stressful enough, there’s now lots of hysteria about things beyond our planet. That’s right: UFOs and aliens.

So what's happened?

It’s been announced that the Pentagon UFO unit will make some investigations public as ex-advisors suggest that “vehicles not made on this Earth” were place in US government storage.

A report by the New York Times revealed that the team update the US Senate’s Intelligence Committee on its unidentified flying object (UFO) research every six months.

Eric Davis, a former Pentagon official, told The Timesthat he briefed the US Department of Defense in March about the retrieval of “off-world vehicles not made on this Earth”.

He said objects he believed “we couldn’t make…ourselves” were found during his time on the unit, where he has worked since 2007.

Former Democratic Senate Majority leader Harry Reid told The Times that he “came to the conclusion” that UFO materials were in the government’s possession.

After looking into this, I came to the conclusion that there were reports — some were substantive, some not so substantive — that there were actual materials that the government and the private sector had in their possession.

And it’s not just Democrats, or former politicians, who are taking this seriously. Serving Republican senator Marco Rubio said that potential activity around military bases was concerning.

We have things flying over our military bases and places where we are conducting military exercises and we don’t know what it is — and it isn’t ours.

Frankly, that if it’s something from outside this planet — that might actually be better than the fact that we’ve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary.

Naturally, this information has caused a lot of hysteria, panic and excitement online...

... But also lots of jokes, memes and even a bit of indifference too.

Just another wild twist in the dystopian rollercoaster that is the year 2020.
