A member of Trump's transition team asked the internet a question. It didn't go very well

Sometimes social media can give us a false sense of security. Our little echo chambers can lead us to believing that everyone thinks along the same lines we do.

This became no more apparent when Republican congresswoman Marsha Blackburn sent a slightly ill-judged tweet.

She asked her followers:

Do you support the repeal of Obamacare? RT if you do, and share what you want to see as a replacement.

At time of writing, 84 per cent had voted No, in comparison to 16% voting Yes.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) AKA Obamacare, was introduced by President Obama in 2010. It aims to help the 44 million Americans without health insurance by making it more affordable. Despite some criticism, the number of those without medical insurance is at a long-time low, according to the independent Obamacare facts.

Trump has vowed to repeal the act, and writes on his website that Obamacare:

Has tragically but predictably resulted in runaway costs, websites that don’t work, greater rationing of care, higher premiums, less competition and fewer choices. Obamacare has raised the economic uncertainty of every single person residing in this country.

But judging by some of the comments underneath Blackburn's tweet, it won't be a popular move.
