London's property market isn't even trying anymore

In the maze of dodgy landlords, overpriced cupboards and misused adjectives that is London’s property market, it’s quite refreshing to see a bit of honesty.

An advert was placed on Gumtree for an apartment in Mile End earlier in the week, appropriately titled "S**t room to rent in East London!!!”.

It specifies that the apartment has three rooms on offer at a cost of £120 per week.

The advert, before it was taken down, said:

This property has to offer 3 s*ty double rooms available for single person or couple.

The rooms are fully furnished. Very clean, and tidy.

The wardrobe is broken on the top, the mattress doesn't match with the base.

Obviously, if you're interested we will change everything for you. The flatmates are all professional between the ages of 20-30.

The letting agent, Luis Swarovski, told the Evening Standard:

I described it like that because of the present condition.

Obviously if someone moves in it will not be like that anymore.

Luis, we applaud your honesty.
