Academy-Award-winning actor James Woods is on a roll.

The 71-year-old went on Twitter to make fun of people and publications critical of Trump.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez delivered a speech on Wednesday at the House in which she criticised the US president over the government shutdown. She said:

It is not normal to hold 800,000 workers’ paychecks hostage. It is not normal to shut down the government when we don’t get what we want.

Woods didn’t like that, and called her the “most dangerous person in America.”

Sharing a photo of the New York congresswoman, he wrote:

This is the most dangerous person in America right now. Ignore her at your peril…

Ignoring all the right-wing vitriol directed her way in the comments section, a great many people dragged the actor for his fear-mongering.

For her credit, Ocasio-Cortez has been batting away what seems to be a concerted and targeted effort to discredit her.

Fox News made fun of the congresswoman on Thursday by incorrectly claiming she couldn’t find Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office when she and other reps tried to give him a letter urging him to end the government shut.

Fox News claimed they couldn’t find him because they “went to the wrong office” – something Ocasio-Cortez refuted.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote:

As I say *in the clip you posted* we WENT to the majority leader’s office - he was absent.

So we decided to drop letters off at almost every place he could run (including the GOP break room).

At what point is @FoxNews obligated to not lie?

And more importantly, #WheresMitch?
