Introducing an incredibly simple way to get your other half to listen to you

A new survey has found that women listen better in the mornings and men listen better in the evenings.

The research, commissioned by Asda, surveyed 1,000 men and women to find that tricky topics are best bought up over breakfast or dinner.

The perfect times of day to make sure information sinks in? 8.20am for women, and 8.15pm for men.

Thirty-nine per cent of the men questioned said they also like to talk while driving, and unsurprisingly, only 8 per cent would be able to concentrate on the conversation whilst watching football.

The study also found that “We need to talk” are words men like to hear least, while women hate: “Is everything OK?”

So there we have it: making sure you’ve got someone’s undivided attention could be just a matter of timing.
