Hipster Barbie is here to call BS on your "live authentic" Instagram pictures

Contrary to popular belief, posting an aerial shot of your flat white on a beat-up wooden table on Instagram does not make you authentic.

Neither does wearing a beanie hat, or fashion glasses, or taking a bubble bath, or your blog about how to live an authentic life.

Fortunately this hipster Barbie, otherwise known as @socalitybarbie, is here to call you and your #iPhoneonly photography out.

The woman behind the account wants to remain anonymous so Socality Barbie maintains her true authenticity, obviously.

"People were all taking the same pictures in the same places and using the same captions," she told Wired.

"I couldn’t tell any of their pictures apart so I thought, 'What better way to make my point than with a mass-produced doll?'"

"Either your Instagram photos looks just like her’s or you know at least one person who does."

Lesson learned: Stop being so insufferable on Instagram.
