Eric Trump tried to link the Clintons to Ghislaine Maxwell forgetting that his dad isn't exactly innocent

Eric Trump isn't known as being the smartest of the Trump offspring but it really is staggering to see the almost lack of intelligence and wherewithal that the 36-year-old possesses.

On Thursday, Ghislaine Maxwell, the former associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died in a jail cell last year, was arrested by the FBI potentially opening a huge can of worms for anyone who was involved with Epstein. Those include the likes of Prince Philip and Donald Trump, who have been pictured in many photographs with Epstein.

Eric possibly forgot this when he attempted to take an ill-advised pop at the Clintons when he shared a now-deleted tweet of Maxwell at the wedding of Chelsea Clinton in 2010.

In the tweet, he circled Maxwell as Bill Clinton lead Chelsea down the aisle and captioned it with 'Birds of a Feather.'

Either Trump thought this would be a hilarious opportunity to own the Clintons but he only managed to embarrass himself and his family even more with the tweet as he found himself bombarded with pictures and videos of his father hanging out with Epstein and acting in inappropriate ways around younger women.

Jeffrey Epstein died on 10 August 2019 in his jail cell just days before he was due to give a testimony about the alleged sex trafficking of underage girls.

Maxwell has been arrested by the FBI for reportedly having an involvement in Epstein's sex crimes and the abuse of minors.
