You've probably never thought about it, but you don't see many child changing tables in men's bathrooms.

Why? It seems illogical when you think about it. It's as if fathers have been excluded from having to change their child in a public bathroom.

How would a father get around this issue if he was faced with it? Well, as it turns out, with great difficulty.

A viral Instagram post from father of three Donte Palmer, where he shows the challenges he faces of having to change a child without a table, has helped highlight this problem.

Donte's original post has since helped start an online campaign, mostly on Twitter, where people have been asking why there aren't any baby changing facilities in male bathrooms.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Donte said that until he shared the image, he never considered it to be a problem:

If there’s no changing table available, then I do what I do to get it done.

As a father, we need to be seen as an equal. We’re more than just protectors and providers.

We’re the stroller pushers [who] get up at 4 a.m. to warm bottles.

My wife and I, we share everything equally. We cook and clean. We work hard — equally.

Why do we share equal responsibility but society views us differently?

He did add that family bathrooms are available in certain places but they aren't common.

Palmer now wants others to use the hashtag #SquatForChange in an effort to raise more awareness about the issue and has even begun to share other fathers pictures on his own Instagram page.
