Crossrail is going to be named after the Queen and some people are angry

News that the new Crossrail route through central London is going to be called the 'Elizabeth line' broke on Tuesday.

The decision from Transport for London has garnered... ahem... mixed reaction.

Some thought it fits in nicely.

But for the most part - on Twitter, at least - the people were not amused.

Proper unimpressed.

It's been pointed out that literally no one will refer to it as the 'Elizabeth' line.

A few are looking at the silver lining, though.

Even if it's borderline treason.
