Twitter/Alex 'Big Cash' Ptak
Democrat Beto O'Rourke, who shot to fame last year after almost beating Ted Cruz in the midterm elections, is known for his youthful, relatable and charming speaking style.
But somewhere underneath that sunny exterior must lie a tiny demon spirit and comedian Alex Ptak has summed him up perfectly.
Ptak released a parody video on Twitter, featuring his version of a character he dubs "Demon Beto".
"Demon Beto", complete with a cape and devil's horns, is Ptak's spot-on impersonation of the real O'Rourke, who has some very distinct phrases and mannerisms, which the comedian just nails.
Speaking from high-up places (the politician is known for standing on tables to make speeches) and with a similar rhetoric, Demon Beto says things like:
Hungry Americans are looking for pious blood.
Or:
To my friends at home I say this. I am un amigo de el serpiente.
The funny skit soon went viral, and many people took to Twitter to commend the comedian on his spot-on impersonation.
Who knows, now that the Democrat hopeful announced his run for the 2020 presidency, we might see more of Demon Beto.
