Maisie Williams is the cover star for Dazed magazine's latest issue.
Soon to be seen again in HBO's Game of Thrones as Arya Stark, the 17-year-old has a message for adults who assume the worst about her generation:
People think we're f--king stupid and we don't know anything about anything. It's really degrading,
I get a lot of adults who are like, 'You don't know sh-t,' and it's like, 'You don't know sh-t. You have no idea what it's like to be 17 years old'.
On her fame and becoming some of a cult figure for Game of Thrones fans, she added:
Whether I like it or not, I've become influential to people. I don't wanna be liked just because I'm pretty. That's f--king boring, and I'm not that. Lots of young people in the industry try to play it cool, but it just makes them look like arrogant dickheads. I'd much rather be liked because people realise that I'm standing up for myself.
The spring/summer issue of Dazed, the state of the nation issue, is out on April 9.
